At the SBB, we provide 3 whitening options, depending on the patient's preferences and the condition of the teeth.
A simple and convenient overlay method is based on the use of individually prepared overlays, to which you apply a special whitening preparation, and then put them on your teeth. This activity is repeated regularly at specified intervals until the desired effect is achieved.
The dental hygienist takes impressions to make the overlays, and after about 2 working days, on the next visit, you will receive ready-made overlays and whitening gels and detailed instructions for the procedure at home.
In-office whitening is limited to one, sometimes two visits, during which the whitening preparation is applied to the teeth. It has a higher concentration than the gel used for overlay whitening. During the treatment, the gums are protected with a special protective mass, and the preparation is activated by irradiating it with a lamp.
It includes standard in-office whitening, and you also get a home tray whitening kit. It is used to stabilise the color or to whiten the teeth some time after the treatment.
Bonding (camouflage treatment) - performed by dentists Bonding is a procedure intended for people who have full dentition without malocclusion. It allows you to hide small defects in the teeth in the form of chippings or dents by applying layers of composite resins. They allow for the reconstruction of the correct architecture of the teeth, as well as their brightening and reduction of discoloration without much interference with the natural enamel.
